Patience with Yourself
"The Lord is slow to anger, abounding in love."
— Numbers 14:18
Patient Lord,
I am impatient with myself. I want to change instantly, progress quickly, be already there. This impatience frustrates and discourages me.
Give me patience with myself. The understanding that growth takes time, that learning comes through error, that transformation is gradual.
May I treat myself with the same patience You have toward me. Celebrate small progress, accept temporary setbacks, persevere without discouragement. I am a work in progress.
