Scars That Testify
"And the God of all grace... after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong."
— 1 Peter 5:10
Lord,
When I look back, I see the trials I have been through. At the time, they seemed insurmountable. Today, I am still standing, stronger, wiser.
Thank You for the journey traveled. Not that I desired the trials, but I recognize that they transformed me. They taught me perseverance, developed my compassion, revealed strengths I didn't know I had.
These scars I carry are also badges of honor. They testify to what I survived, what I learned, who I have become. Thank You for supporting me through those difficult passages.
Amen.

Reflection
Look at a past trial. How are you different today because of it? What have you gained in strength, wisdom, compassion?
For all those in trials who need to see that they will emerge stronger.
