Patience in Waiting
"Be patient... until the Lord's coming."
— James 5:7
Patient Lord,
Waiting can be difficult. When things are slow to happen, when change is slow, when hope is tested.
Give me patience to go through times of waiting. The ability to trust even when I don't see immediate results, to persevere in hope.
May I understand that waiting is not wasted time. Something is being prepared in silence, something is ripening in patience.
Amen.

Reflection
What are you waiting for impatiently? How can you cultivate patience in this waiting?
For all those who are waiting and need patience.
