Inner Life
"The kingdom of God is in your midst."
— Luke 17:21
Heavenly Father,
Inner life is essential. It is there, in the depths of my being, that You dwell. It is there that the essential takes place.
Teach me to cultivate my inner life. Not to live only on the surface, in external agitation, but to descend into my own depths.
May I take time for this inner exploration. To meditate, to pray, to stand in Your presence. It is in inner silence that I truly meet You.
Amen.
