Patience
"Be patient, then... until the Lord's coming."
— James 5:7
Patient God,
I want everything, right now. This impatience makes me anxious, dissatisfied, always seeking the next thing. I no longer know how to wait, to let things ripen.
Give me patience. Not passive resignation but active, confident waiting. The ability to accept that everything has its time, that maturation cannot be rushed.
May I cultivate patience with myself, with others, with life's processes. Patience is a form of wisdom.
Amen.

Reflection
In what area of your life are you most impatient? How could you cultivate more patience?
For all those gnawed by impatience.
