Letting Go of Control
"Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails."

Lord,
I like to be in control, to foresee everything, to plan everything. But life won't be controlled. The unexpected arises, plans change, and my need for mastery stresses me.
Teach me to let go of control. To accept that I cannot master everything, that uncertainty is part of life. Help me do my part and then entrust the rest to You.
May I live with more flexibility, accept changes of plan, adapt to the unexpected. Life is richer when I don't force it into my rigid patterns.
