Heavenly Father,
My life is filled with small joys I barely notice: morning coffee, a message from a friend, a ray of sunshine, a moment of calm. I pass through them distractedly, in search of great joys.
Open my eyes to the small daily joys. These simple moments which, put together, weave a happy life. Help me notice them, savor them, celebrate them.
May I understand that happiness is not in rare great events, but in the attention paid to the countless small graces of each day. An attentive life is a rich life.
