Celebration

God of joy,
I am often so serious, so focused on problems, challenges, things to do. I forget to celebrate, to rejoice, to mark victories, even small ones.
Teach me to celebrate life. To stop and mark achievements, milestones reached, good news. To gather those I love to share moments of pure joy.
May I not always postpone celebrations until later, when conditions are perfect. Life is short, occasions to rejoice are precious. Help me seize every opportunity to celebrate.
