Wonder

Creator of wonders,
Routine has dulled my sight. I no longer see the beauties around me, I no longer marvel at the daily miracles. Everything seems ordinary, mundane, without sparkle.
Awaken in me the capacity for wonder. May I look at the world with fresh eyes, see the magic in the ordinary, the sacred in the everyday.
A sunrise, a child's laughter, the complexity of a flower, the tenderness of a gesture—all these are extraordinary when I take the time to truly look. May wonder open my heart to joy.
