Prayer
"Pray continually."

Lord,
Prayer is that slender thread that connects me to You. Sometimes I forget it, sometimes I cannot find the words, sometimes I wonder if You hear me. And yet, I know that prayer transforms.
Teach me to pray. Not with beautiful phrases, but with my heart. In moments of joy as in moments of distress. With words or simply in silence.
May my whole life become a prayer. Every gesture, every encounter, every work accomplished with love. May I live in Your presence, aware of Your loving gaze upon me.
Amen.
