Joy
"Rejoice in the Lord always."

Lord of joy,
Sometimes life seems gray, routine, without sparkle. I lose sight of joy, drowned under worries and obligations. And yet, deep within me, I long for that lightness of heart.
Rekindle in me the flame of joy. That deep joy which does not depend on circumstances, which remains even in trials. The joy of knowing that I am loved, that my life has meaning, that each day is a gift.
Help me cultivate this joy through small things: shared laughter, beauty contemplated, a moment of spontaneity. May I be for others a bearer of joy, even on dark days.

Joy is a choice as much as a feeling. Today, do one thing that brings you joy, even if it's very simple. Dance, sing, play!
